Dr. Imelda Ryan Consultant Child Psychiatrist

This seminar is intended for barristers who are interested in learning more about how to question child witnesses in sexual abuse cases. St. Louises’ Unit, Crumlin Hospital specialises in the assessment and treatment of children who have made allegations of having been sexually abused. The two speakers from the Unit will speak of their experiences of interviewing children and share their views of how an enhanced knowledge of children’s thought processes and developmental stages can assist with the questioning of children.
This seminar will cost €10 for ICBA members and €30 for non-members.
