ICBA ‘on Drugs’ , Common Prosecutions in the District

On December 1st the inaugural event of the Irish Criminal Bar Association new CPD, Common Prosecutions in the District, series catering specifically for years 1-5 took place. Where they learned the key proofs of some of the most commonly prosecuted summary offences alongside the procedural evidential challenges which opened to exploration in the case.

Moderated by Shaun Smyth BL, Chair of the Irish Criminal Bar Association. ICBA ‘on Drugs’ hosted Gregory Murphy BL, an accomplished junior practitioner who showed he knows his way around all things pills and powders. He guided attendees through the key elements of possession offences and the proving of regulations, the drugs and ancillary matters.
