Joint EUBA & ICBA Event: The Impact of EU Law on the Irish Criminal Process

This seminar will briefly outline the impact of EU law on the Irish criminal process and provide an update on the activities of the EU Public Prosecutor’s Office. At the end of the presentation, participants will;

• Understand the recent impact of EU case law on the Irish criminal process, in particular, in the area of data and privacy.

• Understand the activities and operation of the EU Public Prosecutor’s Office.
